Review of the mobile application Crypto News

The main functionality of Crypto News is a news aggregator that contains news and articles from popular sites such as Cointelegraph, Coindesk, Forklog, Bit Media and others. There are more than 250 sites in the list of information sources, and this list is constantly updated. We cooperate only with those projects that correspond to our editorial policy, so all news sources before adding to the application are carefully checked.

Content is selected by the editorial office: we post only unique and useful news and articles for our readers, which allows them to save time on surfing on the Internet in search of the necessary information.

You can assign this screen the main one for the application. The path is as follows: settings > Registration > Main screen > News.

Categories

The materials are tested by the editor -in -chief, after which they are divided into categories: bitcoin, altcoins, etherium, market, blockchain, analytics, mining, ICO, finance, security, regulation, etc. The green frame for news http://ncrypto.site/crypto-arena-seating-chart/ means that it is present on the main screen.

• The main ones – for those who do not want to spend time reading all the news. In this category, only the most important and interesting materials.
• All news – list of all news published in the application.
• Twitter – Twites tape from the most popular English -speaking accounts.
• Video – list of news that contain video materials.

My tape

On the “My Tape” screen, you can configure your own news feed by connecting only the sources you need.

News design

The tape is presented in two versions: small and large news cards.
Design can be changed in the settings: Settings > Registration > Appearance > Big cards in the news.

Bookmarks, share

You can add news and articles to bookmarks to read them later, as well as share them with your friends and acquaintances.

Search for news

You can find materials posted in the application by searching for the heading. Set the search parameters, by accurate or partial coincidence.

Rating

Based on the color indicator of the rating, you can determine the interest of users in the news. This will indirectly tell you how useful this information is and whether it is worth reading the details.

Similar news

Only unique and relevant materials are published in news feeds, the rest fall into similar news. You can see which of the sources wrote about the same news. It is possible to send us similar news from another source.

Information on coins is displayed on the basis of CoinmarketCap data, for this a paid API service is used. Data are updated every 5-10 minutes.

You can make this screen the main one for the application: Settings > Registration > Main screen > Market Cap.

List of coins

The default coin list is presented according to the rating of market capitalization Coinmarketcap. The default is also selected in the USD currency, with a period of 24 hours. You can change the currency of calculations, select the data display period (1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days), and also change the principle of sorting coins.

With a pile from right to left, an additional menu of action is revealed on the coin:

• Add a coin to a portfolio. When you press the icon, the screen of adding a coin in the portfolio opens. But if the coin has already been added to the portfolio, then when pressing, the transition to the list of its purchases will be made.
• Fix the coin. When pressing the icon, the coin is fixed on top in the list. If the coin is already fixed, then pressing the icon will remove its fixing on the screen.
• Add a notification. When you press the icon, the screen of adding a new notice for the coin opens. If the coin already has at least one notice, then when clicking on the icon, a list of notifications for this coin will be opened.

When you press on any of the coins, the transition to its detailed screen occurs.

Coins graphs and prices

On a detailed screen, expanded information about the coin was displayed: financial indicators, graphs, prices and notifications. Using icons from above, you can add a coin to the portfolio, go to the purchases of the coin if it is already added to the portfolio, or fix it on the Market Cap screen.

Graphs are presented to the choice in linear form and in the form of candles. You can configure the data period on the graph from 1 hour to 1 month.

Information on the current prices on a coin on different exchanges is displayed on the price tab, sorting is provided for convenience.

Notifications

Notifications can be configured both for global parameters such as Market Cap, 24h Volume and BTC Dominance, and for each coin separately. Notifications for coins are common for both Market Cap and portfolio. For example, if you add a notification for Bitcoin to the portfolio, then it will appear in Market Cap.

The free version provides for the addition of up to 5 notifications. The notification center displays information about all notifications received. You can note all notifications as read, and you can also delete them both at once and one at a time.

Search for a coin

To find the desired coin, you can use the search line. Search is carried out both by exchange ticker and by name. As in the list, the search results provides an additional menu for the coin on the pile.

Making a list of coins

The type of coin cards can be short or expanded. In an expanded version, market capitalization and volume in 24 hours were additionally displayed.

The design can be selected in the settings (settings > Registration > Appearance > Extended cards in Market Cap).
